Physical Statuses are persistent statuses that have detrimental effects. A monster can only have one physical status applied at a time. They are one of the two status categories, the other being Mental Statuses
Statuses
No Status
This is the default state for monsters, and has no other effects. This is displayed as "OK" in the team list.
Poison
A poisoned monster will lose progressively more health at the end of each turn.
Bleed
A bleeding monster will lose 6% HP at the end of each turn. Additionally, the monster's ATK stat will be halved.
Fatigue
A fatigued monster will lose EP at the end of each turn. Additionally, the monster's MAG stat will be halved.
Paralysis
A paralyzed monster has its SPD stat halved.
Sleep
A sleeping monster will be unable to attack in most circumstances. Sleep lasts for 3 turns. Each turn while asleep, the afflicted monster gains 1/16 HP. Upon waking from sleep, the monster will become Rested.
Removal
Since physical statuses are persistent, monsters will not recover on their own (with the exception of Sleep) nor will they recover after switching out. In order to remove them, certain moves which recover the status of the team or user must be used.
